Who we are.
LaTour Creations is the combined work of Laura and John LaTour. Married since 2002, the two share a pragmatic outlook on life, which translates to a practical design philosophy: Form should always follow function. Each has used their own skills to create websites and artwork with as much emphasis on practical application as beautiful design.
Laura
Laura took her first photographs at a Girl Scout camp in Germany the summer she turned ten. The photographs were awful, but they helped her to realize the power of film to preserve memories.
Today, Laura has a BFA in photography from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. She continues to preserve memories through her photographs and is working on creating memory portraits and keepsake photography for other families to treasure.

John
When not cheering on the Red Sox or feeding his fierce film addiction, John keeps a good day job as the mild-mannered IT Manager for an accounting firm.
Web design started out years ago as a side-project, a hobby to pass idle hours. However, after re-designing the firm's commercial website from Flash to a more lightweight solution, he was bit by the web bug, and bit hard. Now, it's hard to keep him from trying new ideas, all while striving to maintain compliance with design standards.
