Busy Schedule by Dad
Lots of stuff to do to round out Henry’s fifteenth week. This Saturday, we’ll be driving to Connecticut for my cousin’s bridal shower. Laura will attend as I take Henry over to visit with Auntie Pat.
I’m pretty sure that he’ll weather the trip OK. Best case would be that he sleeps through most of it, otherwise Laura can switch to the back seat and distract him as I drive. How he behaves in those few hours during the shower without Momma… is yet to be determined.
Monday is Laura’s birthday. We don’t have all that much planned, but I will be fielding Henry the Saturday night after (the 7th) while she escapes long enough to go hang out with her friends. It’s gotta be tough to be handcuffed to the little guy 24/7, even if he is cuter than all hell, so getting out will be a great relief to her, I’m sure.
We’ve got bottled milk ready for both weekends, all that’s left to do is wait for them to arrive!
