Time Flies… by Dad
OK, so the last post we made here was in November, and now it’s February.
Yeow. Sorry about that.
So, what did we miss?
Henry’s First Birthday
It wasn’t really all that exciting, to be honest. A snowstorm canceled the party, and then Henry got really sick with a stomach flu. He threw up for six days straight, and then took over a week after that was done to even start being his old self again. Poor guy ended up getting dehydrated as well as losing a good piece of weight. Don’t worry, he’s gained it all back, but that was a scary time. The only good thing about it was that I was home on vacation for the whole thing, so we were able to handle it better than if I were gone all day.
We’ll make it up to him next year.
Andrew’s Birth!
Henry’s cousin Andrew was born on the 29th of December. At least I think it was the 29th, it was a long day. We took Henry up to meet him in early January.
(Yes, it was Daddy’s turn to dress him that day.)
So now it’s February. Soon we can hope the weather will start to warm up, and Henry can begin exploring outside of the house or the mall, the two places he’s most familiar with.
I’m going to turn his car seat to face forward tomorrow, as he still gets VERY cranky when put in the car. Perhaps the change of scenery will do the trick.
Hopefully it won’t be quite as long until the next post…
